Limited Edition Storyboards

I am excited to announce my limited edition Storyboards, designed from your session showcasing your child/children and relationships. This collage offers 11 images and one “title” space, in color or black and white. The minimum size for these collages are 16×20 or 20×20, due to the number of images (they’d be too small if they were printed smaller) and can be printed much larger. These are dramatic and exciting and a to capture the spirit of your child and/or family. For a limited time, these storyboards are 20% off!

*Also valid for previous sessions.

Sisterly Love

April 23, 2007
These beautiful girls are sorely missed by grandma over in England, and mom & dad wanted to capture images of their girls for themselves and Grandma.

Little “M” is only 3, with those gorgeous blonde curls… and her darling sister, “E” who is 1. I have so many favorites from this session, but I just had to post the “dancing” ones!

A Brother and Sisters

April 20, 2007

Look at this beautiful family. I always love capturing children as they are, their expressions, their beauty and glimpses into who their going to be when they get older. But I also love capturing the family relationships that mold who they are, and who they’re be in the future. Family dynamics and siblings and their relationships are so wonderful to capture and document.

The Early Bird…

April 17, 2007
This sweet, pretty little girl was born early. As many of you know, my youngest was a preemie so I have a very sweet attachment to early birds! This little girl was a bit bigger at birth and thrived wonderfully. Mom contacted me for images of her sweet little girl, while she was so new and before she changes even more than she has already. “N” was a wideawake, bright-eyed inquisitive little girl and a new member of my baby planners! I’m excited to watch and capture baby “N” in her first year!

Sweet Sweet Baby

April 13, 2007

Baby A was a complete doll, easy going and sleepy she was a pleasure to capture. You can tell she is well loved by both Mom and Dad! She was a squisy newborn, one that you can squish up comfortably. I have many favorites from this gallery, but here are a few…

This past month has been a whirlwind, I entered 4 prints in a Professional Print competition, and all 4 ribboned! I will add the prints I chose, up on the blog in a bit. But what I learned from a professional print competition is that the prints that you might *LOVE* or your clients *LOVE* are not the one that the competition judges will! The judges run by a different rules, and all of this will be invaluable in the future.

Currently, the prints are on display at Citizen’s Bank in Medfield, with some of my other work. Citizen’s Bank has been wonderful about supporting small businesses and promoting them! (Thank you!). Bank of America, removed my business cards (and everyone elses) because they felt that they couldn’t be responsible for the businesses that left their business cards in the business card holders (!!) . Bah!

Heather Barr Photography receives inquiries from students that want to become apprentices and be mentored! Keep those inquiries coming, I may not have *time* when you first request, but I keep your information on file for the future.

This wonderful family contacted me through a wonderful referral (Thanks Deb), to reproduce a similiar canvas they had of their older son for their second son. B is wearing the same outfit that his older brother wore, and the same age. We had a great time, B is an explorer, and i have quite a few pictures of his feet! Feet?? Yes, I would place my camera down to get something or adjust something, and “B” would run right to my camera and press any buttons he found! As my camera was on the floor… I have a few shots of his little chubby toes!

Here is an example of the traditional, and then some fun ones! Such a wonderful family!

Pretty Girls

April 6, 2007

This wonderful family had such beautiful little girls! Sisters that are so close, and so expressive! I loved the expression on the 3rd image, MK and her little sister is such a beauty. She looks so much like Mom. I really enjoyed meeting this family and capturing them!

Color Options….

April 4, 2007

Clients ask me about the different “color” options for their prints, I usually show a few different options in their gallery. I thought this might be helpful to view the same image with the different color looks to them. Color, Sepia, a few different vintage looks, selective coloring, black and white, mocha, etc.

I will be printing these off for all my upcoming clients folders, so they can see the differences between color finishes that are available., but thought it might be helpful :)
